Day One

We arrived at Xiamen about noon.  The weather is cooling and pleasant.

Our first destination was a Buddhist Temple, where we enjoyed a sumptuous vegetarian lunch before touring the temple.

Our next stop was the Xiamen University, which included a visit to the lake.
